Privacy policy
This summary describes categories of data processed through the SnapWallet console and related services. For contractual or jurisdiction-specific terms, refer to agreements covering your organization.
What we collect
We process account details you provide (such as email for login), technical logs needed to operate the service, and usage information associated with your API and dashboard activity. When you enroll customers in loyalty, membership, gift card, or event programs, we process the customer details you or your customers submit to provide those features.
Digitizing a physical card
When you use our digitize flow to add a physical loyalty or membership card to your wallet, we collect the information you enter (such as your name, card number, optional email for recovery, wallet platform, and store or card name for custom cards), along with technical data including your IP address, approximate location derived from that IP, and browser or device identifiers such as user-agent strings.
We do not use precise GPS location for digitize. Location is inferred from IP only and is approximate.
We use this information to issue your wallet pass, support optional recovery contact, operate and secure the service, and understand aggregate usage patterns (including geographic use of public card templates). We do not sell digitize data. Retention follows the same principles described under Retention below.
Why we use it
Data is used to authenticate users, provide the platform, improve reliability and security, communicate service-related notices, and fulfil contractual and legal obligations (including billing and tax where applicable).
Cookies and analytics
The marketing site may use standard analytics or tag manager tooling to understand traffic in aggregate. You can control cookies through your browser where applicable.
Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active. When an account owner closes the account:
- Console user and account contact details are anonymized immediately and access is revoked.
- Operational and customer data associated with the account's workspaces is permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Billing, payment, and ledger records may be retained longer where required for legal, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations, with personal identifiers minimized where possible.
Backup systems follow the same retention principles and are overwritten according to our backup lifecycle.
Account closure
Organization account owners can close their account from Settings in the SnapWallet console. Closing the account cancels the subscription, stops access for the team and API keys immediately, anonymizes login data immediately, and schedules deletion of remaining service and customer data within 30 days as described under Retention.

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar rights, you may have the right to request access to, rectification of, erasure of, or restriction of processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Account owners can exercise erasure for the organization account via account closure. For other privacy requests, contact us using the options below.
